Do you care about the environment, love working outdoors and want to be part of a community of like-minded people? If yes, we need your support.
We’re looking for a small number of active and dedicated volunteers to help us preserve the natural beauty of Moreton Island by:

  • controlling the spread of pest plants
  • regenerating degraded areas with native plants
  • removing rubbish from beaches and campsites.

During our volunteer weekends, volunteers are expected to:

  • work within a small team for at least 9 hours over 3 days
  • be on time for daily briefings and follow instructions
  • be self-sufficient, proactive and considerate of others.

By volunteering with us, you’ll gain skills in plant identification, weed control and plant propagation, plus contribute to preserving one of the most pristine places in the world.
Due to travel times it is not practical to conduct day trips for volunteer work.
